MEMBERS’ STAKES CLASSES FINAL

1. Definition of Young Kennel Club Members' Stakes Class (KC Regulation F(A)
Definition of Classes):
For Any Variety dog or bitch exhibited and handled by a fully paid up member of
the Young Kennel Club. The dog should be registered either:
a. solely or jointly in the member’s name; or
b. in the name of a member of the family (i.e. a group of people related by blood
or marriage) and under these circumstances the dog must be resident at the
YKC member’s address.
2. Dogs eligible to enter a YKC Members' Stakes Class at Crufts will be those that
have gained 30 or more points at YKC Members' Stakes Qualifiers scheduled
between 24 January 2022 and 23 January 2023.
3. Dogs qualified to enter a YKC Members' Stakes Class at Crufts are NOT;
a. eligible for entry in a breed class at Crufts unless qualified as per pages 4, 6,
8 and 10 of the Crufts schedule;
b. required to be eligible to enter a breed class;
c. required to enter a breed class before being eligible to enter a YKC Members'
Stakes Class.
4. Dogs declared Best of Breed which have been beaten in the YKC Members' Stakes
Class remain eligible to compete in the Group or Best in Show competitions.
5. The Kennel Club registered owner(s) of dog(s) that have qualified for a YKC
Members' Stakes Class at Crufts will be sent an official invitation to enter. Only
entries received on this official entry form or on-line will be accepted.
6. The entry fee for a YKC Members' Stakes Class is £5.00 per dog per class.
However, if a dog is entered into both a breed class and YKC Members' Stakes
Class, the fee payable is £35.00, in these circumstances the YKC Members'
Stakes Class will be considered as a subsequent entry.
7. The winner of each YKC Members' Stakes Class will be invited to return on
Sunday 12 March 2023 to compete in the YKC Members’ Stakes Final to be
judged in the Arena by Mr G. Robertson.
